Michigan State, Florida on ropes in college football Week 3

Anthony Richardson's Florida team is struggling. Missouri State has a seven-point lead and the ball in Arkansas territory entering the fourth quarter. Marshall lost at Bowling Green in overtime. Washington is running away with the game against Michigan State. There was a multi-patient incident in Boone, home of Appalachian State after its win. The fans rushed the field and caused some injuries. The incident happened after Appalachian's win over Tennessee. Michigan and Florida are on the ropes in college football Week 3. Christian Horn scored the winner for Appalachian State on the last play. Cal's coach Marcus Freeman got his first victory as a head coach with a 24-17 victory over Notre Dame. Minnesota is winning against Colorado. Air Force was upset by Wyoming.   Texas A&M hosts ESPN's College GameDay. It's ski season in Colorado now. The best team in the state was Air force. They lost to Wyoming on Friday night. Michigan State and Florida are on ropes in college football Week 3. Oregon is the Bounce-Back Team of the Year.

Oregon was beaten by Georgia in the season opener, but since then the Ducks have won two games by a combined score of 111-34. Quarterback Bo Nix had a fourth consecutive struggle against Georgia, and since that he has been sharp.

Appalachian State won the game on a walk-off touchdown.

Minnesota beats Colorado 49-7. Washington State is leading Colorado State 28-0. Air Force was upset by Wyoming on Friday night.

Marcus Freeman got his first victory as a head coach with a Hail Mary pass on the final play. Notre Dame won 24-17. The team is still winless. It's playing with its backup quarterback.

South Alabama let an upset win at UCLA slip away.

Sean Clifford had 117 yards passing, 14 yards rushing and a touchdown in the first half at Auburn.

Auburn's play probably shouldn't have happened at all because the clock hit triple zeroes presnap.

Syracuse beat Purdue. Northwestern's fumble led to a victory for Southern Illinois. Georgia's defense is good enough to prevent a big upset. Nebraska fans are unhappy with the team's coach. South Carolina's quarterback underthrows a pass and Georgia takes over. Oklahoma's punt is returned for a touchdown. Georgia is up 14-0. The Gamecocks are down 21-7. Syracuse beats Purdue 9-3. Purdue committed seven penalties.

Northern Illinois is up 31-17 over Northwestern off the turnover late.

Syracuse has scored a touchdown and added a two-point conversion to go up three points over Purdue.

Northwestern lost the ball to Southern Illinois with eight minutes left in the game.

Georgia took a 14-point lead after a turnover by South Carolina's Spencer Rattler.

BYU plays a physical game against Oregon. Oregon lost to Georgia in the first game.

Penn State and Auburn are playing a rematch of last year's game in Happy Valley. Penn State's Sean Clifford is the starter, but freshman Drew Allar is waiting in the wings. Auburn is still fiddling with its quarterback situation.

Fresno State takes on USC at 10:30 p.m. on Saturday. The game is a toss-up. The team that gives up a lot of points is not going to continue that trend.
