Mighty Heart looks to trot away with Canada’s Triple Crown

Mighty Heart is the favourite to win Canada's Triple Crown on Saturday. He has won three of six starts despite losing his left eye in an accident as a foal. His trainer, Carole Carroll, is 62 and she has already won the Queen's Plate three times. He is trained by Doug. The third and last race is on a turf course at Woodbine over a demanding 1 ½ miles. Daisuke Fukumoto, 23, from Japan has ridden him just twice. It's a $400,000 ninth race. Clayton, a filly that has run third twice, will be the second choice among bettors. Belichick, another colt trained, finished second to his stablemate in the Queens Plate.
