It hasn’t been a very positive last ten games for the Houston Astros, leading to them winning just four. The Astros are hanging onto the second wild-card spot in the American League but have seen their odds of winning the American League fall from +290 to +340.

It’s also been a struggle for the Texas Rangers as the end of August looms. The AL West leaders have lost six in a row and seven of their last ten games. With their recent cold stretch, the AL West race is wide open, causing the Rangers’ odds of winning the AL to drop from +310 to +340.
3. Baltimore Orioles +440 (Last week: +430)
The Baltimore Orioles have won seven of their last ten games and hold a two-game lead over the Tampa Bay Rays in the AL East. Still, the O’s odds of winning the Pennant have taken a slight dip over the last week from +430 to +440.
4. Tampa Bay Rays +500 (Last week: +500)
Despite the number of integral pieces unavailable to the Tampa Bay Rays, they’ve still managed to keep winning baseball games. The Rays have taken three in a row and seven of their last ten, leading to them maintaining their +500 odds to win the American League.
5. Seattle Mariners +750 (Last week: +1600)
The Seattle Mariners have won eight of their last ten games and now occupy the final wild-card position in the American League. In addition, the M’s only trail the Rangers by 1.5 games for the top spot in the AL West. With their tremendous August, the M’s have seen their odds of winning the Pennant skyrocket from +1600 to +750.

Despite the Minnesota Twins losing two in a row and five of their last ten overall, they still have a nice gap between them and the Cleveland Guardians at the top of the AL Central. As a result, the Twins have maintained their +950 odds to win the American League.

Even though the Boston Red Sox have won six of their last ten games, they still remain four games out of the last wild-card position in the American League. Still, the Red Sox’s odds of winning the American League have risen from +6500 to +5500 over the previous week.

There haven’t been many bright spots from the Cleveland Guardialatelyate, dropping six of their last ten games. Cleveland trails the Twins by 4.5 games in the AL Central and has seen their odds of winning the AL Pennant plummet from +10000 to +35000.
