MLB MVP 2022 odds update: Paul Goldschmidt remains betting favorite in NL, Rafael Devers among AL sleepers

Aaron Judge is the betting favorite in the American League MVP race. Paul Goldschmidt is a front runner in National League. Pete Alonso and Manny Machado are making strong pushes to be in MVP conversation. Rafael Devers is one of the sleepers in our list of potential MLB MVP sleeper.

Aaron Judge is the favorite for the 2022 AL MVP. He is hitting 29 home runs and has 59 RBIs this season. Shohei Ohtani is second in the betting odds at +260. He had a good month of June, hitting .298 with six home Runs and 17 RBI.

Paul Goldschmidt is the odds-on favorite to win the NL MVP for the Cardinals. He's having a career year at the plate, hitting .340 with 19 home runs, 65 RBIs and a 1.042 OPS. Pete Alonso and Manny Machado are also good bets.

Rafael Devers is a favorite to be named the 2022 American League MVP. He is slashing .327/.383/.579 with 17 home runs and 46 RBIs for the Red Sox. Mike Trout, Yordan Alvarez and Jose Ramirez are also popular choices.

Trea Turner is a dark-horse candidate to win NL MVP this season. He's slashing .311/.359/.491 with 11 home runs and 59 RBIs. Turner has also been a factor on the bases with 16 steals in 18 attempts. The top-three favorites (Goldschmidt, Alonso, and Machado) don't add much value with their leagues.

Byron Buxton is a long shot to win the MVP award for the Minnesota Twins. Buxon is hitting .226 at the plate with 22 home runs and 40 RBIs this season. He's also played 62 games this year, his most since 2019.
