MLB power rankings 2022: Yankees, Mets among best MLB teams entering October

The 2022 MLB season is coming to an end. The standings and power rankings provide a good look at the best teams and those with plenty to regret after an underwhelming season.

The Atlanta Braves are the reigning World Series champions. They have the starting rotation, bullpen and star-powered lineup to make another deep run.

The New York Yankees are 17-8 since September 11. They secured the AL East and the No. 2 seed in the MLB playoff bracket. Aaron Judge’s historic season is leading the way.
