NBA picks: Best player prop bets for Pelicans vs. Kings in Monday’s quarterfinal

The Sacramento Kings will host the New Orleans Pelicans in the quarterfinal round of the NBA’s first In-Season Tournament Monday evening. Here’s a look at our favorite player props to target for that contest, with odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook.

CJ McColllum over 5.5 assists (+110)

The Pelicans guard is back after missing 12 games due to a collapsed lung, and even played 38 minutes against the Spurs. McCollum dished 13 combined assists in his two games back, and gets a favorable matchup here. The Kings rank 26th in opponent assists allowed, so McCollum has a good chance to hit the over on this prop at plus money.

De’Aaron Fox under 2.5 3-pointers (-120)

Fox doesn’t shoot an insanely high percentage from behind the arc but he’s gone over this line eight times in 13 games, including three of the last four. However, this is a challenging matchup. The Pelicans are excellent at guarding the perimeter, ranking third in opponent three-point percentage allowed. Volume might give Fox a chance to go over this mark but the under is the safer play. He went under this line in both games against New Orleans earlier this season.

Zion Williamson over 23.5 points (-135)

The forward played in both matchups against the Kings this season, going over this line in both instances. Even if the Kings look to key in on Williamson, the Pelicans star is showing why he can make this team a contender. Back Williamson to get his points in this knockout game.
