NBA player props: Best bets for Wednesday, December 13 featuring Dame Lillard, Embiid, Mikal Bridges

We’ve got nine games on Wednesday’s NBA slate, which gives us plenty of opportunities to find great player props to target. Here’s a few of our favorite plays for the day’s action, with odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook.

Damian Lillard over 3.5 3-pointers vs. Pacers (+110)

This is expected to be a high-scoring game, with the total set at 259. Lillard didn’t play in the first meeting between the Bucks and Pacers, but the guard had a mixed showing in the In-Season Tournament semifinal with 24 points on 7-20 shooting. He did make four triples in that game though, and is looking to bounce back after a disastrous shooting performance against the Bulls Monday. Lillard has gone over this mark in four of the last seven games, and the Pacers rank 28th in opponent three-point percentage, setting up the point guard for a big showing from behind the arc.

Brandon Ingram over 5.5 assists vs. Wizards (-130)

The Pelicans forward has quietly been a great distributor this season, averaging 5.4 assists per game. He’s gone over this line six times in the last nine contests, reaching five assists in every single game. This matchup is extremely favorable, with the Wizards ranking last in points per game allowed, opponent field goal percentage and opponent assists allowed. Zion Williamson is questionable and might not play, which would further boost Ingram’s stock in this offense.

Mikal Bridges over 24.5 points vs. Suns (-115)

Bridges has been on fire of late, averaging 26.8 points per game over his last six while shooting 53.8% from the floor and from behind the arc. The forward returns to Phoenix to face his former team, and would like to have a big showing in front of that crowd. This is the first time Bridges will face the Suns since the trade last season, so it’s a big game for him. I’ll back his current scoring run to continue against a Suns defense that could be a step slower on the second night of a back-to-back set.

Joel Embiid over 44.5 points + rebounds vs. Pistons (-125)

The only real fear here is the game getting out of hand quickly, because the reigning league MVP continues to put up massive numbers. Embiid has gone over this line in each of the last three games, most recently putting up 45 points + rebounds in just 29 minutes against Washington. In the previous meeting against Detroit, Embiid racked up 49 points + rebounds. Look for him to keep up his dominant production against a struggling opponent.

Alperen Sengun over 10.5 rebounds vs. Grizzlies (+100)

There’s not a ton of upside here with the odds, but I like Sengun to go over his usual rebounding mark in a favorable matchup. The Rockets big man has come into his own this season, although he’s only hit double-digit rebounds in six of his 20 games this season. The Grizzlies have been decimated on the interior and it shows in their rebounding stats. They rank 24th in opponent rebounds allowed, setting up Sengun to grab at 11 or more tonight.
