NBA schedule release: San Antonio Spurs' must-see games in 2023-24 National News
On Thursday, the NBA announced its 2023-24 regular-season schedule, which includes the league's new In-Season Tournament. Below are the Spurs' most interesting matchups, including all four games of tourney group play in the new NBA Cup.

His NBA debut comes against another international sensation in Luka Doncic, and just a week later, he’ll face Kevin Durant, who has a similar lanky build. Knicks fans don't need a reason to fill up the Garden, but you best believe Wemby's Nov. 8 visit to New York will be sold out and star-studded. While the French phenom is the betting favorite to win Rookie of the Year, Chet Holmgren makes his NBA debut as well, so the clash between the two young, skilled 7-footers on Nov. 14 in Oklahoma City will be one you won't want to miss. On Dec. 13, Wembanyama will play his first game against the Lakers' LeBron James and Anthony Davis, making for three former No. 1 overall draft picks on the court together. Also, the Bucks' Giannis Antetokounmpo and 2022 No. 1 overall pick Paolo Banchero will get the chance to face Wemby in December and January. Welcome to the Association, rookie.
Joe Lago: The NBA certainly isn't taking it easy on Wemby and the Spurs. In the first month of the regular season, they will play two games in Phoenix against Kevin Durant, Devin Booker and Bradley Beal, and they'll have home games against both 2023 NBA Finals teams (Heat, Nuggets) as well as the Warriors.
