New halfback Luke Campbell enjoying stint with Turbos
Campbell is a new player for Manawatū. He has been a standout player this season. The team has lost all eight games this year. They lost to Taranaki last week. Campbell will play for New Orleans in the Major League Rugby in January. It will be his second overseas sojourn after a spell with the Narbonne club in France. He played rugby in New Zealand for Wellington College and Bay of Plenty. If the chance to play Super Rugby again came up, he would be keen.
Manawatū Turbos are coached by Jason Emery. They have 15 players, including Drew Wild, Tima Fainga'anuku, Taniela Filimone, Ed Fidow, Brett Cameron, Luke Campbell, Brayden Iose, Johnny Galloway, Ofa Tauatevalu, Micaiah Torrance-Read, Sean Paranihi, Siua Maile, Joseph Gavigan, Ben Strang, Harrison Allan, Flyn Yates, Veikoso Poloniati, Potu Leavasa, Logan Henry, 22 Sam Clarke, and 23 Louis Rogers.
