New York-Bred Tiz The Law Wins Spectator-Less Belmont Stakes
New York-bred Tiz the Law won the Belmont Stakes. It was the first race of a rearranged Triple Crown schedule. Dr Post finished second and Max Player third. The race was shortened from the usual 1½-mile standard to account for competitors' unusual training schedules. About 100 people attended the race. The first major sporting event since the coronavirus pandemic seized the area.
