Mo Donegal wins the Belmont Stakes in a big day for Todd Pletcher

Mo Donegal won the Belmont Stakes. Todd Pletcher's horse won it. It's his sixth Triple Crown victory. The horse was 5-2 favorite. We the People was 7-1. Rich Strike was sixth. The Kentucky Derby winner was held out of the Preakness. He was the first healthy Derby victor to skip Pimlico since 1985. This is the fourth straight year the Triple crown races were won by three different horses. There were 50,000 spectators at the race. Bel Mont Stake was limited to 11,238 spectators due to virus restrictions.
