EYE OF THE WATER (5.36, nap) is fancied to make a splash at Bath this afternoon with victory in the freebets.ltd.uk Free Bets Handicap.
The seven-year-old, trained by Ron Harris, has already won twice on the course this year – the latest in August when keeping on well to hold off Ciotog by a neck.
My selection again ran well at Bath last week when second to the same horse under a 4lb penalty.
He is now 1lb lower and should be thereabouts today.
At Stratford, ARCADE ATTRACTION (6.00, nb) has been rejuvenated since joining Sophie Leech.
He made it two wins from two starts, both over course and distance, for Leech with an impressive victory early this month under today's jockey, Brian Hughes.
Always prominent, the nine-year-old went clear before the last and, despite pecking on landing, ran on well to beat Atlantic Storm by nine and half lengths.
