NHL Best Bets Tonight

After digging into tonight’s NHL slate there are plenty of great spots, with player props that feel mis-priced and hold great value. Saturday’s tend to be a great day for NHL betting as many games are higher scoring and players come out motivated and energized. Let’s find some gems of NHL best bets from coast to coast to give you some action all night. But before we breakdown these bets make sure to become familiar with all of the odds tonight from the Betting News NHL odds page!

NHL Best Bet: Noah Dobson point (-125) on Bovada

Noah Dobson may not be the biggest name in the NHL, but he is a major reason why the New York Islanders have found success this season. Through 12 games Dobson has 12 points and has produced in 9 games. He has become a true top defenseman in the league and is fueling the Islanders’ offense.

Tonight he will face the Washington Capitals, who are coming off a win last night in New Jersey. The Capitals should be a great target as they have allowed the 3rd most goals against while on the road. Dobson also has a great history against them with 7 points across his last 9 games.

There is more value to this prop if you decide to take his assist at +110 but he does have 5 goals this season. Another stand out prop from this match is Tom Wilson point at -105 on Bovada. Wilson is getting top line minutes with Ovechkin and has a point in 58% of games this season. This number goes up on the road where he has hit in 75% of games. Both of these look like some of the NHL best bets of the night!

Quinn Hughes is now the Norris favorite and his offensive production has been a huge part of this. He leads all defensemen in scoring and is 4th in the league for points with 21 in 13 games. He has helped lead the Vancouver Canucks to third place in the entire league and doesn’t appear to be slowing down.

Tonight he faces off against the Toronto Maple Leads who are coming off an overtime win last night against the Flames. Toronto has had some goaltending issues, and have had to rely on their offense to win games. They allow the most goals against in the league when playing at home (4.86).

Now the Canucks powerplay is red hot. They have the 4th best unit in the league and convert at nearly 33%. The Maple Leafs just so happen to have the 4th worst penalty kill in the league. See where we are going with this?

Quinn Hughes has a power play point in 6 games this season, with 6 in the last 4 games. This is a fantastic spot to capitalize on this prop that holds great value. JT Miller and Elias Pettersson power play points also are NHL best bets and can be sprinkled at +120 and +110 respectively on Bovada.

NHL Best Bets: Roman Josi o3.5 SOG (-115) on Bovada

Some players just love to feast on certain teams. And Roman Josi of the Nashville Predators’s favorite target just may be the Arizona Coyotes. He has hit his shots on goal line in 10 of his last 12 games against the desert dogs.

Josi averages a whooping 10.4 shot attempts against Arizona. The Coyotes are also a great target for SOG in general. They allow the 11th most shots against in the league and the 8th most against defensemen.

Now Roman Josi has been a little less consistent this season. He has only hit his SOG line in 5 of the 13 games. But he is still averaging 6.8 shot attempts per game. What better way to get back on track than playing one of his favorite opponents.

Another angle to take with Josi is his assist for +100 on Bovada. In the last 7 games against the Coyotes Josi has 13 points. Of those points 6 are assists. His goal is +260 (7 in his last 7 games against Arizona) and is worth a sprinkle. Josi is one of the NHL best bets of the day for so many different reasons.
