NHL Central Division Betting Guide: Odds, Predictions, & Best Bets

The NHL Central Division is the most interesting division in the current preseason. The 2022-23 NHL season starts in less than two weeks. The Central division is alphabetically followed by the Atlantic, Central, Metropolitan, and Pacific divisions.

Colorado won the Central Division last season. The Avs are favored to win the division this year. They lost Nazem Kadri and Andre Burakovsky, but they signed Valeri Nichushkin and Artturi Lehkonen. They also signed Evan Rodrigues and added a role player. Minnesota lost Kevin Fiala and Cam Talbot, and the Blues lost David Perron.

The St. Louis Blues won the Stanley Cup a few years ago. They finished with 109 points last season. Jordan Kyrou broke out last year and should continue that this year. The defense is solid, but the goalies are still a concern.

Dallas Stars are not going to make the playoffs. Jake Oettinger is a promising young goalie. The Stars may be worth more if they win the Western Conference or Stanley Cup.

The Avalanche, Blues, Stars and Wild are going to make the playoffs. Nashville Predators are the odd team out. They are at +170 odds. The Wild have a better chance of making the postseason.
