NHL Must Bet Props Tonight

There is a huge 10 game NHL slate tonight, so let the fine folks at Betting News put together some sharp bets to collect you coin from coast to coast. To be honest, there are some tricky looking matches, but there are some absolute must bet NHL players props on the board that hold a ton of value. Before we break down some favorites make sure you become familiar with all the NHL odds!

NHL Player Props: Teuvo Teravainen point (+100) on BETUS

What did the Buffalo Sabres do to Turbo Teuvo to make him feast on them whenever he plays them?! After going pointless for the first six times he played the Sabres (back in 2015-2017 mind you) he has put up a whooping 20 points in 13 games against them. That’s coldblooded.

He is currently on Carolina Hurricanes’ top power play unit and plays on a stacked 2nd line with Martin Necas and Kotkaniemi. The Hurricanes currently score the 11th most goals while at home and have the 7th best power play unit. They can mismatch most teams with their depth, and that is exactly why this NHL point prop is a must bet.

The Buffalo Sabres have run into some goaltender issues after their star rookie netminder Devon Levi went out with injury. Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen is projected to be in net. In his past 5 games he has allowed 3-5 goals in three starts. He holds a career 3.44 goals against average and a .898 save percentage.

On top of Teuvo Teravainen point, it is very difficult to not jump all over Andrei Svechnikov point at -125 on Bovada. After shopping around these are some of the best odds you can find him at. Both point options feel like safe NHL player props to bet on, in a night with tricky matches.

Ryan Hartman o2.5 SOG (-115) on BETUS

Some people are just born for the road. Ryan Hartman of the Minnesota Wild is one of those people. Since last season he has hit in 67% of road games vs 39% at home. This season he has hit his shots on goal line in all 5 road games.

His match up tonight makes this one of the safer NHL player props to bet on. He faces the New York Islanders who are currently allowing the 2nd most shots against in the league. They also allow the 7th most shots against by centers.

Minnesota only has one win in their past five games. That should mean they will come out flying, and Hartman should help lead the charge.

On the other side of the ice there is a ton of value in Noah Dobson power play point for +250 on Bovada. Minnesota has the worst penalty kill in the league. Dobson quarterbacks the top unit and has four PPP in 7 home games. He also has 5 assists in 7 home games which can be had for -105.

Evgeni Malkin 2+ point (+200) on Bovada

Ending the article with a big odds player prop. Malkin and the Pittsburgh Penguins are coming off a 10-1 victory over the San Jose Sharks and tonight they get a target that they have beat down before.

In his career Malkin has 11 goals and 18 assists vs the Ducks in only 22 games. He has had a multi-point game in 50% of those games and five of the last 6 games against Anaheim. He also plays on a line with former Duck Rickard Rakell.

Rakell only has 3 points all season, and two came from the Shark spanking. Last season he had three points in the first game he played against his former team. I like both Rakell and Malkin to roll tonight in a nice revenge narrative. Rakell’s point is -105 on Bovada.

This isn’t the same Ducks teams as the past few seasons. They actually allow the 8th least amount of goals against. However, they do allow the most power play opportunities per game, and this is exactly where Malkin along with Rakell can capitalize.
