NHL parlay picks Nov. 26: Take the Jets on the moneyline amid hot streak

The Edmonton Oilers are still waiting to turn their season around, and tonight's home matchup against the Anaheim Ducks should help move them in that direction.

The pregame narrative: Edmonton has cruised against Anaheim in most of their recent meetings, which is why the Oilers are included in Sunday's +262 NHL parlay. Elsewhere, the Winnipeg Jets are in good shape to keep rolling against the Nashville Predators.

NHL oddsas of 11:00 a.m. on 11/26/2023.

NHL parlay picks

Parlay: Blue Jackets +2.5 + Jets moneyline + Oilers moneyline - regular time (+262)

Blue Jackets +2.5 (-182): There's enough parity in the NHL that, no matter who you are, it's tough to consistently beat teams by more than a goal or two.

Take the Hurricanes, for example. They're 6-2 at home this season, but only two of those wins have come by three-plus goals. And two nights ago, they lost by six on home ice against the Lightning.

Columbus is just 6-11-4 this year. Even so, losing by three or more goals is rare. The Blue Jackets have covered a +2.5 line in 18 of 21 games.

Also, these teams aren't all that far apart in terms of goal percentage this year. According to Natural Stat Trick, Columbus has a 45.1% goal share and Carolina has a 49.2% goal share.

Other parlay picks

Jets moneyline (-124): The Jets have won eight of their past nine games, which includes a 6-3 win over the Predators back on Nov. 9.

Winnipeg dominated play at 5-on-5 in that game, garnering 19 of 32 scoring chances (59.4%) in a 6-3 win. That makes this moneyline price look great as a straight bet, and it offers a nice boost to this parlay.

Nashville is on a four-game win streak, but the team is just 9-10 overall. And even though Winnipeg is a visitor in that one, it shouldn't be much of a hindrance. The Jets are 6-2-1 on the road this season.

Oilers moneyline - regular time (-165): Edmonton scrounged together a silver lining at the end of a 1-3 road trip, posting a five-goal shutout in Washington on Friday. Now, the Oilers are back home against a team they've dominated in recent history.

Since the start of the 2021-22 season, Edmonton is 6-1 against Anaheim. All of those games were decided in regulation.

The Ducks haven't played beyond 60 minutes in any of their past 10 games, which is part of the reason I'm comfortable taking the 60-minute line as opposed to the standard moneyline. And that bumps up the value of the parlay in the process.
