NRL 2022: Front-row power rankings 16-1

The 2022 NRL regular season is over. Front rowers have seen their reputations take a hit this year.

Rudolf played 20 games this season. He played 60 minutes per game. His performance improved under Craig Fitzgibbon's guidance.

The departing star didn't have his best season in a Roosters jersey. He provided one of the highest average run metres amongst his fellow props.

Vaughan played 24 games, made 20 tackle breaks, 1482 post-contact metres, 133 run metres and 28 tackles per game in his most complete season since he was with the Raiders in 2015.

Fonua-Blake is one of the most damaging forwards in the NRL but he couldn't string it together consistently in 2022. He made more post-contact metres than ever before but his average running metres per game was the lowest it's been in five years.

Lodge played for the Warriors and Roosters. He played well with Jared Waerea-Hargreaves. Lodge is ranked 16th in the NRL 2022 front row rankings.

Burgess started just nine games from the start in 2022. He is a big prop who can play as a battering ram. He helps Cody Walker and Latrell Mitchell to get into good field position.

Warea-Hagreaves is the leader of the Roosters' forward pack. He is no longer in the upper echelon of props for metres made, but his impact is often unable to be measured by stats alone.

Papalii played 23 games this year. He made 67 tackle breaks, 37 offloads, 1140 post-contact metres, 124 run metres and 26 tackles per game.

Klemmer played 18 games for the Knights this season. His average of 155 metres per game was his worst since 2015. He made 2,793 running metres, his lowest since 2014.

Asofa-Solomona enjoyed one of his best seasons. He played more games than he had since 2019. His 2,622 running metres is the best total he has made in all but one campaign so far.

Tatola has been a key player for South Sydney since debuting in 2018. He recorded more metres, post-contact metres and tackle busts than in any other season. Tatola had a hot streak in the middle of the year, scoring four tries in five games.

Paulo played for Parramatta this season. He played in the front row with Reagan Campbell-Gillard. Paulo averaged over 100 metres per game and made 20 tackles.

The Penrith front-rower is the heartbeat of the club through the centre of their field. He plays 20 games, 27 tackle breaks, 14 offloads, 1115 post-contact metres, 145 run metres + 31 tackles per game.

Campbell-Gillard played 24 games, 30 tackle breaks, 1480 post-contact metres, 151 run metres + 25 tackles per game for Parramatta this year.

Haas played 20 games for Brisbane this year. He made 1542 post-contact metres and 32 tackles per game. Only Tapine made more post contact metres than Haas. The young prop was booed by his home crowd at Suncorp.

Tapine had a career-best season in 2021. He made 69 tackle busts and 42 offloads. Tapine also made more run metres than any other prop. He played 23 games, made 1596 post-contact metres, 164 run meters and 29 tackles per game.
