On the edge of a World Cup dream
The Black Ferns are playing in the Rugby World Cup final against England in Ireland on Sunday morning (NZT). The team won the tournament with ease. The Black Ferns have the most tries (42), most points (258), top try scorer (13) and top points scorer in Portia Woodman (65). They were booted out of the 2014 World cup by Ireland. The lock, 30-year-old Wood, started playing rugby three years ago. She has a job as a firewoman. Wood is nervous about the game. It's her first World Championship final. Black fern's are the best team in terms of try-scoring, points, metres gained, offloads, clean breaks and lineout steals.
England and New Zealand are playing a World Cup match at Kingspan Stadium, Belfast. The match starts at 6.45 am NZT.
