Ruahei Demant, Wayne Smith, Ruby Tui big winners at glittering rugby awards

The Black Ferns have won the big awards at a glittering ceremony in Monaco this morning. Director of rugby Wayne Smith was named coach of the year. Captain Ruahei Demant was player of of year and Ruby Tui won best breakthrough player. The Black Ferns won their first World Cup in 12 years. Dr Farah Palmer was awarded the Vernon Pugh Award for Distinguished Service. The All Blacks had only two players named in their women's "dream team". They are lock Sam Whitelock and wing Will Jordan. They also had four players in the men's team. Italy's Ange Capuozzo won men’s trophy.
