Orioles improve playoff odds with shelling of Red Sox
Cedric Mullins, Anthony Santander and Gunnar Henderson hit home runs as Baltimore beat Boston 14-8. The Red Sox have lost six in a row and nine of their last 12 games. J.D. Martinez and Rob Refsnyder also hit long balls for Boston. Boston is eliminated from playoff contention. Baltimore has won three straight games and is 80-73. Spenser Watkins was the winning pitcher. He gave up four runs in 4 1/3 innings of relief.
