Orioles vs Mariners Prediction

The Seattle Mariners will host the Baltimore Orioles for their series finale from T-Mobile Park on FS1. Baltimore snuck away with a 1-0 victory in game two.

Orioles Preview & Projected Starter

Baltimore comes in at 72-45 after defeating Seattle. The Orioles outlasted the Mariners in a true pitchers duel, and they’ll look to take the rubber match here. The Baltimore offense is scoring 4.95 runs per game, while batting .252, with a .329 on-base percentage. The pitching staff carries a 4.09 ERA, with a 1.29 WHIP.

Kyle Bradish (7-6, 3.19 ERA, 107 Ks) will take the bump for Baltimore. The sophomore righty went out and did his job last week, holding the Nets scoreless thru 4.2 innings. Bradish did uncharacteristically walk five batters which led to the early pull, and he’ll have to be a lot sharper here against an angry Seattle lineup who was silenced last night.

Anthony Santander had a quiet series with Houston, but he still leads Baltimore in HR (20) and RBI (63).

Mariners Preview & Projected Starter

Seattle moved to 63-53 after falling to Baltimore. The Mariners gave George Kirby no run support last night, and watched their win streak come to an end.  The Seattle offense is 3.87 scoring runs per game, while batting .234, with a .313 on-base percentageThe pitching staff carries a 3.55 ERA, with a 1.19 WHIP.

Bryce Miller (7-4, 4.20 ERA, 71 Ks) will start for Seattle. The rookie pitcher had a strong outing in Anaheim last week, striking out ten thru five innings, while holding the Angels to one run. Miller bounced back nicely after a pair of rough outings, and he’ll attempt to get the M’s back into the win column Sunday.

Corey’s Free Pick

Well Baltimore ended up taking that one game we spoke up on Friday’s, but after somehow handing George Kirby a complete game loss, Seattle may have revenge on their mind heading into this one. On top of being held scoreless at home, the Mariners also had their winning streak snapped, and I believe that strike back here in the series finale. Let’s back Seattle this Sunday afternoon.
