Orioles have a lot of prospects in their system. They have poor results in the 2022 affiliates standings. Gunnar Henderson was named the player of the year by Baseball America. Colton Cowser and Connor Norby are rising. Since Mike Elias took over, the Orioles haven't prioritized arms in draft or international signings. Drew Rom is an example. Grayson Rodriguez, their most valuable pitching prospect, was injured and missed almost three months. He could start an MLB game before season ends. The Orioles have promoted Adley Rutschman, Gunner Henderson, Kyle Bradish, Terrin Vavra, Felix Bautista, Nick Vespi, and Jordan Westburg.
