Pat Dooley’s Back Nine (December 19th)

The Back Nine is coming at you after another sad performance by Florida’s football team and a women's basketball team.

The football season is over. There were some highlights but also some bad ones. The season was too fast for Pat Dooley.

Florida lost to its three biggest rivals and set records the wrong way on defense. Billy Napier said before the season that it would get worse before it gets better.

Oregon State beat Florida. Florida lost the game. Coach Napier has a losing record as a head coach. Florida fans are tired of hearing from Napie that he has to coach better.

Pat Dooley's Back Nine is on December 19th. Next year's schedule is going to be difficult as Oklahoma and Texas are going out of the SEC a year early. 2024 schedule will be even more difficult with a 9-game SEC schedule.

The women's basketball team is now 11-1 after Sunday's win. The team has played a soft schedule. They play a Tuesday game against Oklahoma in Charlotte.

The Florida men's basketball team is playing in Charlotte Wednesday against Oklahoma. Florida is 51 in the NET and needs a win to improve their resume.

Dr. Football is taking a break from picking bowl games. He is going to pick the semifinals of the College Football Playoff. He will take Michigan, Ohio State, Clemson and Tennessee. Alabama is favored by six points over Kansas State in the Sugar Bowl. South Carolina is a 2.5-point underdog against Notre Dame in Gator Bowl, which he will watch.
