Paul Pogba Next Club Odds: MLS Sides 6/1 To Sign Frenchman

Paul Pogba could be on the move from Juventus already, with a possible transfer to the MLS on the cards after the Frenchman was dropped from his side’s Europa League squad.

The Frenchman returned to Turin in summer last year, ending his six-year spell at Manchester United. His move to Manchester was the reverse of Pogba’s 2012 transfer, where he left the Red Devils for Juventus. However, this season in the Serie A has not gone to plan.

Injuries have ruined this campaign for the 2018 World Cup winner, suffering a major meniscus tear that ruled him our for the majority of the season. He has made two sub appearances in the league, accumulating a measly 35 minutes of football.

The France international was dropped by Juventus for disciplinary reasons, as he allegedly turned up late for a meeting. Manager Massimiliano Allegri decided to not include the superstar in their Europa League squad that beat Freiburg on Thursday.

Rumours of frustration within the Old Lady’s board about the signing of Pogba started to surface. However, his return against Torino off the bench ended a 22-match wait for supporters to see their star summer signing and his brief cameo highlighted his quality.

The 30-year-old will want to prove that he can still play at the highest level, but given his injury problems that may not be possible. According to UK betting sites, the MLS could be a possible route for the midfielder to find his feet and enjoy his football once again.

PSG are also interested in the Frenchman, as they look to bolster their squad after a disappointing exit in the Champions League round of 16. The Ligue 1 side are reportedly willing to let one of Neymar, Kylian Mbappe, and Lionel Messi go which would open up funds for Pogba.
