Pelicans vs. Nuggets same-game parlay

Parlay: Pelicans +11.5 + Under 234.5 points + Gordon over 5.5 rebounds (+300)

Pelicans +11.5 (-190): New Orleans dominated its last two opponents, the Golden State Warriors and Sacramento Kings, winning both games by 30-plus points. Now, the Pelicans look to carry that momentum into Denver.

The Pelicans are one of the better teams in the league ATS, going 6-2 in their last eight and boasting an overall ATS record of 22-15. Additionally, as underdogs, they've covered the spread in 11 of 16 games. That makes an alt line of 11.5 points too enticing to pass up.

And it's not like Denver has been great, either. The Nuggets have only covered the spread in three of their last nine games.

New Orleans could keep this one close and even win outright.

Other parlay picks

Under 234.5 points (-195): New Orleans has put up some of the best defensive numbers in the league lately, holding its last 10 opponents to an average of 94.3 points per contest. The most points the Pelicans have allowed over those games was 116 to the Memphis Grizzlies.

Denver also adds to the trend by hitting the under in 23 of its 39 games (59.0%). Part of this is the way the team limits turnovers. The Nuggets give up the fewest turnovers in the league (11.5/game). That nullifies a lot of the fast-break opportunities for opponents.

Taking the under on an alt total gives extra cushion in case the total gets close to the standard line of 229.5 points.

Gordon over 5.5 rebounds (-157): The Pelicans allow the seventh-most rebounds to power forwards per game (10.8), so this matchup provides an opportunity for Gordon to be active on the glass.

In the two previous meetings between these teams, the 10th-year forward recorded eight and 12 rebounds, respectively, which is well over the six needed tonight.

Gordon averages 6.6 rebounds per contest and has a chance to go over his average and smash this rebounds prop.
