Perenara relishing being back in the All Blacks

Perenara is back in the All Blacks squad and is relishing his opportunity. He was not called up to the team earlier in this year. Perenra won the Ranfurly Shield and Bunnings NPC title with the Wellington Lions. His Norths club side won a championship and made it to playoffs. He lost one of his best friends to a heart attack. The experience helped him mature. It put his career in perspective. he was grateful for everything professional rugby provided for him. For him, it was more important to play well and be called back into the side. If he wasn't called, he would have been enjoying the quality of football he played.
