Phillies-Braves playoffs: Schedule, game times, tickets, pitchers, and MLB rules

Philadelphia Phillies will play the Atlanta Braves in the National League divisional series starting on Tuesday. It's the second time the teams have met in a postseason. The first time was in 1993 National league championship series.

The 2022 MLB playoffs began Friday with the wild-card round. The two highest-seeded teams in each league got a bye and face the divisional winners in the next round, which is best-of-three.

Philadelphia Phillies and Atlanta Braves are playing in the National League divisional series. San Diego Padres are also playing against Los Angeles Dodgers.

Cleveland Guardians vs. New York Yankees, Seattle Mariners vs Houston Astros, and Philadelphia Phillies vs Atlanta Braves are the American League divisional series.

The Philadelphia Phillies will play the Atlanta Braves in the National League divisional series that begins Tuesday. The division is 2-2-1, so the Phillies would play at Citizens Bank Park in Games 3 and 4 if the series goes that far.

Ranger Suárez is expected to start in Game 1 of the Phillies-Braves series. Zack Wheeler could start Game 2 and Aaron Nola could take the mound in the third game. Max Fried will start for the Braves in that game, despite having the National League’s third-best ERA since the start of 2020 season.

ESPN had the exclusive television rights to this year's wild-card games. Fox will broadcast all the National League playoff games through the World Series. TBS will air all American League games with Joe Davis and John Smoltz.

Phillies-Braves divisional series starts on Tuesday, Oct. 11 at 1:07 p.m. (Fox). Game 2 is Wednesday, October. 12 at 4:35 p.,m ( Fox). Games 3 and 4 are on Friday, Friday October 14 at 5:30 p,m., Saturday October 15 at 3:00 p,.m, and Sunday October 16 at 9:15 p..m.. (FS1). The games won't air on NBC Sports Philadelphia, but they will be carried on 94.1 WIP. Scott Franzke and Larry Andersen will call the games.

The team has sold out tickets for the National League divisional series at Citizens Bank Park. Tickets are also available on StubHub, Seat Geek and Vivid Seats.

There are no "ghost runners" during this year's playoffs. The designated runner rule was introduced during the regular season to preserve pitching staffs.

The full MLB postseason schedule for 2022 is available. The games are scheduled from Tuesday, Oct. 18, through Wednesday, October 26. The schedule is updated as more games announced. All times are Eastern. Phillies play Braves in Game 1 at 1:07 p.m. (Fox), while Braves play Phillies in game 3, 4, and Yankees play Guardians.

Dodgers play Padres in Game 4, while Braves play Phillies in a Game 5, which is scheduled for F1. Yankees play Guardians Game 3, and the Astros play Mariners Game three.
