Placid Ark ‘would have given Black Caviar a run for her money'

Mitchell bet his favourite sprinter Placid Ark that he would win the 1987 Lightning. Ken Judge bet on Placid Ark and Michael Pitt got 16-1. Mitchell was happy with the price he got.
