Post Time: Racing Kreskin reviews 2022 predictions

The annual predictions are in the books for 2022. The Racing Kreskin was looking to best last year's record. He showed some early season success before riding into the sunset after the recently completed Breeders’ Cup at Keeneland Race Course.

This year's predictions and results are as follows: Life Is Good upsets Knicks Go in the Pegasus. The Derby winner will come out of the Santa Anita Derby. Bob Baffert won't train this year’s Derby winning horse. The Haskell Hat is Maroon. A Canadian Triple Crown is in play after Prince of Wales. It's been done only once since 2003. There was a photo finish in one of Triple crown races. This year, the Racing Kreskin is 3-for-5. They are 3 for 7 with the Haskell hat color. In the Preakness, Early Voting won by 1¼ lengths, and Mo Donegal won 3 lengths.

Life Is Good upsets Knicks Go in the Pegasus. Todd Pletcher-trained colt crushed the field, which included 2021 Horse of the Year Knicks.

There was a disqualification in one of the Derby prep races. The 50- and 100-point qualifying races lacked a disqualified, so the sweep was dead before the first Saturday in May.

Rich Strike came out of gate No. 20 and won the Kentucky Derby at odds of 80-1.

The winner of the Santa Anita Derby will come out of Florence, Ky., not Los Angeles.

Bob Baffert won't train this year's Derby winner. His two-year ban was upheld. Neither of his transferred colts sniffed the board in the Derby.

Rich Strike won the Derby. Early Voting won Preakness. Mo Donegal won Belmont.

The Racing Kreskin has struggled with the Haskell Hat selection. Yellow was the color of choice down by the shore.

Moira won the Queen's Plate in August. Prince of Wales won't be able to win the Canadian Triple Crown.

Epicenter won the Travers for the third consecutive year. Kreskin is 3-for-9 on predictions.

The Racing Kreskin predicts that the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile winner will win by more than five lengths. Flightline won by 8-plus lengths in the Classic. Forte upset the favored Cave Rock by 1¼ lengths, which is short of the Racing's prediction.
