Regional specials – 2023-24

Top North West club

Top London club

Top Midlands club

bet365’s regional special markets close when the opening game of the Premier League season – Burnley vs Manchester City – kicks off at 8pm on Friday August 11.

For your bet to be paid out, the side that you have backed must finish above all the others in the market in the Premier League table.

Where could the value lie in this market?

In the North West market, Manchester City have the shortest odds (2/7) and it is easy to see why.

Pep Guardiola’s side are the favourites to win the domestic top flight for what would be a record fourth consecutive time and a sixth title in seven seasons.

Before Arsenal last season, Liverpool looked like the only outfit capable of challenging City’s dominance and they are 5/1 to finish ahead of them in 2023-24. Manchester United, who finished 14 points behind the Light Blues last term, are the same price.

The top London club could provide some value, with the Gunners the current favourites at 8/13. Mikel Arteta’s side led the Premier League for the majority of the 2022-23 campaign and have strengthened their squad with the arrival of Declan Rice from West Ham United.

Chelsea should be a totally different proposition this term and could be the value shot at 11/4. Under the guidance of Mauricio Pochettino, the Blues are primed to return to their former glory. Before last season, Chelsea had been the top London club in every campaign since 2018-19, so despite that slump it will be no surprise to see them back in contention.

Tottenham Hotspur are priced at 9/2 to end the campaign as the top outfit in the capital and also have a new manager in Ange Postecoglou. Crucially, Spurs do not have the distraction of European football this term so could be well placed for a strong domestic campaign.

In the top Midlands club market, there is less value with Aston Villa the favourites at 1/3 ahead of Wolverhampton Wanderers (4/1) and Nottingham Forest (5/1). Wolves and Forest are among the favourites to get relegated, while Villa finished seventh last season and boss Unai Emery had them performing well last term.
