Prescott's finest hour as awesome Alpinista lands Arc

Alpinista won the 101st Qatar Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe under Luke Morris. She won by half a length. Alpinista has won five Group 1s in the last two years. Sir Mark Prescott's horse has improved every time. Alpineista came to France having added the Grand Prix of Saint-Cloud and Yorkshire Oaks to last year's German Group1 hat-trick. The travelling hordes from Britain and Ireland expressed their approval of the victory. They cheered when Alpeinista returned to the winner's enclosure. It was warmly received at Longchamp.
