Preview: Golden Easter Egg heat night at Wentworth Park
Adam Dobbin and Tim Newbold are previewing Saturday night's Golden Easter Egg heats at Wentworth Park.
There are 10 heats of the Golden Easter Egg at Wentworth Park tonight. The series is wide open. In the first heat, Tim is with Adelaide Cup winner DO IT (5). Chase Me Honey (7) went enormous in the Country Classic Final at Dubbo last week. Mitchell Street (8) was drawn outside.
TN and DO IT are going to the Golden Easter Egg heat night at Wentworth Park. They are singing from the same hymn book. DOIT (5) has been there and done it at the elite level. WHERE'S ROCKY (2) is a threat. YUKO GIRL (1) strips fitter for her latest run and draws perfectly.
Chrisie Banner (3) is a good value at Wenty. Weblec JET (6) can run sensational times and has claims despite the awkward draw. Fabriola Ximenez (5) from the Dailly camp is also a great value.
IRINKA RILEY (8) has got a sensational chance in the Golden Easter Egg heat night at Wentworth Park. ANALYSING (1) maps to be a clear leader into the back straight.
Equalizer won at The Meadows last Saturday. Bandit Ned has a superb Wenty record. Daphne's ASCEND is the other chance for AD.
Adam and Banting Ned are the favourites to win the race. Equalizer is a fast animal capable of putting on a show. Daph's ASCEND is speedy and could pinch a march mid-race.
Fantastic RAVEN (5) came second in Saturday's Country Classic Final. CONNECTIONS (8) is a box eight favourite. Victorian Zara's IVAN (6) ran two very good races during the Derby earlier in the year finishing fourth in final. Good ODDS EMMA (1) faces her biggest test.
WOW (2) and Tommy Shelby went hammer and tong in last year's Egg final. Wow is right in the mix for this heat. Victorian IDOLIZE (7) is a winner of the Futurity back in Jan. Ties That BIND (8) right to be in contention.
Wow finished runner-up in last year's Golden Easter Egg. IDOLIZE (7) is the danger and has taken to Wenty like a duck to water. COAST MODEL (1) has been boxed to run a race from the red.
Showdown (5) is the favourite to win the Golden Easter Egg heat night at Wentworth Park. Louis Rumble (6) finished second to Jungle Deuce in the New Sensation last year. Indy Matilda (1) has a box one record of 7 wins from 10 attempts.
LOUIS RUMBLE (6) is a flying machine. Steve Kavanagh prepared Cosmic Rumble back in 2010. INDY MATILDA (1) and SPECIAL BLEND (4) are the only danger.
She's a PEARL (8) is the favourite to continue her winning sequence. Maitland Cup winner GOOD ODDS CASH (6) and Megastar winner RITZA DONNA (5) are also in the race.
She's a pear (8) will be winning. Good ODDS CASH (6) has returned from a spell in sensational form. RITZA DONNA (5) goes into all the multiples.
Zipping Kyrgo (2) is coming to Sydney off his Country Classic win. Speedy SA chaser CAME AND WENT (3) has won seven straight races at home. Billy Creek represented NSW in The Phoenix.
TN is with KYRGIOS (2). GYPSY BUN (5) has the early speed to punch up and in the firing line. CAME AND WENT (3) is an improver time-wise on his trial around here last week. BILLY CREEK (4) can never be underestimated.
Lala Kiwi (4) is back in the ring after finishing well beaten in Perth Cup last weekend. Boston Garden (3) won a good race at Shepparton last start. Hansome Rhino (7) can figure if he finds his old form.
Amateur Americano Miss is the best roughie of the night. Speedy Victorian Lala KIWI is a class act. Boston Garden is hit and miss at the jump but could easily win if he steps cleanly.
FERNANDO HUNTER (4) is the favourite in the final heat of the Golden Easter Egg heat night at Wentworth Park. Victorians GYPSY YANKEE (6) and DECIMATE (8) have the tricky draws to overcome at their Wenty debuts. ZIPPING LOPEZ (3) will make his WTwenty debut.
GYPSY YANKEE (6) is a silly price at around 8 bucks in early markets. FERNANDO HUNTER (4) will be the fastest dog in the race. DECIMATE (8) has high speed but is touchy at box-rise.
