Racing: Caution on Bonny Lass chances in Counties Bowl
Bonny Lass is favourite for tomorrow's Group 3 Counties Bowl at Pukekohe. Graham Richardson and Rogan Norvall have a three-race spring campaign for their quality sprinting mare. Richardson wasn't happy with the start of the campaign as Bonny lass landed at the extreme outside gate. The weather and the weight of 60 kilograms is not ideal for the mares. Bony lasses is going to take a big effort. Richardson has trained five winners so far this season. Three of them have come at stakes level.
Bonny Lass is taking part in Counties Bowl on Saturday at 3.54 pm. The race is $110,000 Group 3, 1100m.
Sacred Satono, a three-year-old, was Guineas-bound but a setback sees him drop back in distance. Bonny Lass is in Counties Bowl.
