Rams vs. Raiders: Prediction, point spread, odds, best bet

The Los Angeles Rams play the Las Vegas Raiders on Saturday night, and if you’re looking to do some last-minute betting research, you’re in luck! We’ll give you the latest point spread, money line odds and over/under number, as well as the information you’ll need to make the smartest bet.

The game starts at 9 p.m. ET from SoFi Stadium and can be seen locally on KABC-7 in Los Angeles.

The Raiders come into this one after blowing out the 49ers in their first preseason game, 34-7 – a dominant win over the likes of Trey Lance and Sam Darnold at quarterback.

The Rams, on the other hand, were beaten by the Chargers, 34-17, in their preseason opener last week. None of their top players were on the field and they won’t be again on Saturday, but some projected starters should get some playing time as the regular season approaches.

  • Point spread: Raiders -3.5 Rams +3.5
  • Money line: Raiders -175 Rams +145
  • Over-under: 39.5 (Over: -110 Under: -110)

Advice and prediction

The Rams had some decent drives against the Chargers in the preseason opener but overall, they didn’t look great, particularly against the run. Now they get a Raiders team that steamrolled the 49ers last week, 34-7. That’s not to say the Raiders will dominate again, but they played well against San Francisco – specifically rookie quarterback Aidan O’Connell.

The Rams will need to stop the run in this one because last week, they were putrid in that department, especially when the Chargers ran off-tackle.

Offensively, Los Angeles has some playmakers, including Puka Nacua and Tyler Johnson, but the offensive line has to improve against a Raiders defensive front that’s strong beyond the starters. I just don’t see the Rams taking enough of a step forward to win this one against Las Vegas.

Prediction: Raiders 24, Rams 17
