Dettori's five Royal Ascot rides on Tuesday

  • Inspiral 15/8 - 2.30pm, Queen Anne Stakes (Group 1)
  • Givemethebeatboys 8/1 - 3.05pm, Coventry Stakes (Group 2)
  • Manaccan 8/1 - 3.40pm, King's Stand Stakes (Group 1)
  • Chaldean 2/1 - 4.20pm, St James's Palace Stakes (Group 1)
  • Saga 13/2 - 5.35, Wolferton Stakes (Listed Race)

There are five big chances in the biggest races of them all on Tuesday for the 52-year-old.

Inspiral, the shortest odds of them all is in the opener of the entire festival and could see the Epic Odds come in instantly.

The 1m Queen Anne Stakes is part of the British Champions Series offering £425,325 to the winner but the favourite remains the Charlie Appleby-trained Godolphin horse, Modern Games.

Another British Champions Series that gives Tuesday such prestige is the St James's Palace Stakes, where Chaldean is the clear favourite of the race and on paper Dettori's best chance on that basis.

The Andrew Balding-trained horse already has over £750,000 in prize money at just three-years-old after taking home huge prizemoney in both the Darley Dewhurst and the 2023 2,000 Guineas.

You can never rule out outside prices on Dettori's horse either and prices around 8/1 in the contests with 20+ runners is far from being an outsider.

Manaccan has a course and distance win to his name and a very close Royal Ascot finish when just a length behind Latin Lover in the Palace of Holyroodhouse Stakes in 2022.

Ascot is a tough track to win at and can often be a big factor in going well at the big meeting.
