The latest odds ahead of the 2023 Rugby World Cup in France have been updated less than a month ahead of the tournament which kicks off on Friday, 8 September.

A look at the latest odds shows that the Springboksare third favourites to win this year’sRugby World Cup title, according to leading South African bookmakers Hollywoodbets.

The Springboks will be looking for a record fourth World Cup triumph following their wins in 1995, 2007 and 2019.

Meanwhile, New Zealand have been installed as favourites for the tournament.

The All Blacks are also looking for a fourth success having emerged victorious in 1987 and 2011 on home soil as well as 2015 in England.

Hollywoodbets have France– who are looking to lift the Webb Ellis Cup for the first time after the final at the Stade de France on 28 October 2023 – available at 3/1.

The Springboks can be backed at an attractive-looking 9/2, while world No 1-ranked Ireland, despite their poor World Cup record, are next best at 5/1.

A struggling Australian side under coach Eddie Jones can be backed at 11/1, the same odds that can be had on England.

Argentina (28/1) and Wales(33/1) and Scotland (40/1) are seen as the only other possible winners.
