Saratoga: Tarabi Christens Redesigned Wilson Chute With First Stakes Win
The new one-mile Wilson Chute at Saratoga Race Course was christened on Opening Day. Tarabi won the first running of the $135,000 Wilton for sophomore fillies. It was the daughter of First Samurai's first stakes win. She was trained by Cherie DeVaux and ridden by Javier Castellano. Angitude finished second, Goddess of Fire third, Gina Romantica fourth and Favor fifth. Sweet Solare and Let's Be Clear were scratched. The Longines Test is on August 6 at the Sar atoga. The winner of that race will be the Champion 2-year-old Filly Echo Zulu.
