Champion Echo Zulu Back On Track In Saturday's Dogwood

Champion filly Echo Zulu will make her first start since finishing fourth in this year's $1.25 million Longines Kentucky Oaks. She is the likely favorite in Saturday's seven-furlong Dogwood Stakes at Churchill Downs. The first of 11 races will get underway at 6 p.m. (all times Eastern) and the Dogwoods will go as Race 9 at 10:11 p.,m., with Javier Castellano in the saddle. Echo's stablemate Wicked Halo is a multiple Grade 2 winner. Tyler Gaffalione will ride her from post No. 7.

Champion Echo Zulu is back on track in Saturday's Dogwood Stakes. The race is six weeks in advance of the Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Sprint (G1) scheduled for Nov. 5 at Keeneland.
