The iRacing season 1 content confirmed for 2023 will arrive next week.

iRacing will introduce new features for the GT3 and LMP2 categories in December.

The BMW M Hybrid V8 will make its debut in the IMSA SportsCar Championship at the season-opening 24 Hours of Daytona. It marks BMW’s return to the top class of sports prototype racing since the 1999 BMW V12 LMR.

Season 1 content confirmed for 2023. Magny-Cours is the first French circuit to join the simulator. It was built and inaugurated in 1961. The circuit hosted the French Grand Prix for 18 consecutive years. Michael Schumacher became the the only driver to win eight Grand prix at Magnys.

Wild West Motorsports Park will move to base content as part of an effort to enhance the Dirt Road experience. The change will allow Wild West to return to Rookie-level events and bring Pro 2 Lite action back to off-road tracks. Additional Dirt roads have also been built for Daytona International Speedway and (Legacy) Phoenix Raceway free tracks to allow the Rookie Pro2 Lite series to run with a consistent set of rules.

Virginia International Raceway will be the main iRacer's track for the first season in 2023. It will join other IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship tracks, such as Lime Rock Park and Weathertech Raceways Laguna Seca. The track will receive extensive art and surface updates in the weeks following the 20th Season 1 compilation.

The new season of iRacing will be released next week. The content of the new series will include the Toyota GR86 Cup. It will also be added to the base package. In North America, the GR85 Cup has its own single-make cup.
