Ebwali Secondary School is the new national secondary school football champions. Francis Muhambe joined the team in September 2018. The school has a population of 300 students from Vihiga County. They won the national title on an unbeaten record, scoring 17 goals and conceding only two. Ebwli will play in the East Africa secondary schools games that begin today in Arusha, Tanzania. They will face Katoro Secondary from Tanzania at 3 pm. It is a pool B with St. Mary's Kitende, Budo secondary School from Uganda, St Patrick's from Tanzanian and Katero from Lwanda.
