Seiya Suzuki was named the National League Player of the Week on Monday, April 18. He has been one of NL's top hitters in 2022. Suzuki has a .400 batting average. The 27-year-old left the Hiroshima Carp in the offseason. He was intentionally walked twice and hit three home runs in last week. His hitting streak is now nine games.
