Should the Red Sox Trade Triston Casas to the Marlins?

The Boston Red Sox are looking for a trade to boost their team. Chaim Bloom has made some improvements to the bullpen. The Red SOs haven't been able to sign any big free agents. Triston Casas is a young first baseman who is considered a plus hitter. Miami Marlins are interested in trading him to them. The team has a lot of young players but little to show for it. They have been discussing a Joey Wendle trade recently. It would be difficult to complete such a deal. However, it would not be impossible.   The Red Sides are not flush with players to trade. This is why they are focusing on the winter trade market.

The Red Sox are interested in signing a pitcher. They are considering López, Cabrera and Rogers. Lónis Casas is not part of the discussion. If the Red SOths had to make a deal, they would probably choose Lonype over Rogers and Cabrera. The deal would improve their rotation and fill their gap at shortstop. It's possible that adding Wendle or Rojas with one of these pitchers would make it tougher to say no. However, there is enough uncertainty to keep Lorrype. He's a better bet than Cabrera or Rogers, who have higher ceilings. If they had only to get one pitcher, Lerope would be the best choice.
