Sports betting in Missouri: Lawmakers attempt to revive legislation

Lawmakers are trying to revive a failed priority from their regular session earlier this year. The governor's office shot down the idea of tax cuts and agricultural tax credits. . It is not clear if the special session will see any significant movement. A version of the bill passed the House in March but failed to advance through the Senate. Some lawmakers believe the revenues generated by sports betting legalization could justify the expansion of it.
