Starlet Stakes (Los Alamitos) Predictions, Best Bets, Odds

Faiza, Blessed Touch and Uncontrollable are the juvenile fillies in Saturday's Grade 1 Starlet Stakes at Los Alamitos. Trainer Bob Baffert is looking for his sixth straight win in this race and ninth overall.   in the 1 1/16-mile affair. The winner of the race is expected to be a horse trained by Tim Yakteen.

Faiza is a heavy favorite in the Starlet Stakes. She was bought for $725,000 at a 2-year-old in training sale in May. Faiza won her debut race at Del Mar four weeks ago.

Blessed Touch came second in her last start at Desi Arnaz at Del Mar. She has been sharp sprinting in first three starts. The stakes race is going to be tough for her.

Uncontrollable won her maiden race and finished second in the Generous Portion Stakes at Del Mar. She is the top pick to pull off a mild surprise on Saturday in Starlet Stake.
