Strong field of College Football Playoff hopefuls could mean Georgia must win out

Georgia is undefeated in the regular season. The team has struggled the past two weeks, but it's not a given. Georgia's defense is good, the team's offense has underachieved, and the Bulldogs are relatively healthy. They have a bye week before playing Florida in Jacksonville. Their next game is at Mississippi State on November 12. The SEC has two teams in CFP, which is a good thing for the future. There are a lot of teams that could leapfrog Georgia if they falter. It's a near certainty that the SEC champion will be in, although the conference receiving two bids is looking shaky.
