Suns vs. Thunder prediction and odds for Sunday, March 19 (Trust OKC at home)

The Oklahoma City Thunder are looking for revenge against the Phoenix Suns after they were blown out (albeit without Shai Gilgeous-Alexander) in their last meeting.

SGA is back for Sunday’s game, and so is Aleksej Pokusevski, who played for the team’s G League team recently and could return to the NBA squad after a leg injury kept him out since December.

The Thunder are the No. 9 seed in the West, and they really look like they have a shot to make the postseason with a strong finish to the 2022-23 campaign.

The Suns, who won’t have Kevin Durant or Deandre Ayton in this game, have a 1.5-game lead on the Los Angeles Clippers for the No. 4 seed in the West.

Who takes home the win on Sunday with such a tight spread?

I love the Thunder to win this game, even though they have lost both of the meetings between these teams this season.

The one constant in those games? Gilgeouos-Alexander missed both!

The future All-NBA guard is one of the best scorers in the NBA this season, and he should be able to carve up a Suns defense that is going to lack some rim protection with Ayton out.

There isn’t a team in the NBA better than the Thunder as home favorites this season, as they’ve gone 12-5 against the spread.

The Suns haven’t exactly been dominating with KD hurt, winning just six of their last 10 games and narrowly defeating the Orlando Magic at home on Thursday night.

With SGA in the lineup, the Thunder are a solid bet to grab the win.
