Syracuse Orange v. Connecticut Huskies Prediction & Preview (9/10/22)

Syracuse Orange beat Louisville 31-7 last week. They travel to Storrs, Connecticut to take on the UConn Huskies on Saturday, September 10 at 7 pm. Uconn is currently 1-1 after beating CCS team Central Connecticut State 28-3 last weekend.

Garrett Shrader played a perfect game for the Louisville team. He had a 72.0% completion percentage on 25 attempts. His receivers had at least three bad drops. If that's the guy they're getting for rest of the year, the ceiling for this team far exceeds what it's been for at the last few years.

Nathan Carter needs another big game for UConn to beat Syracuse. Quarterback Zion Turner is only completing about 50% of his passes. Carter will have to be explosive and efficient to avoid being behind the chains often. Syracuse Orange v. Connecticut Huskies is on 9/10/22.

Steve Linton played well for Syracuse last week. Jatius Geer didn't record a tackle. Terry Lockett played very well. Syracuse is expected to dominate UConn in all three aspects.   The team is looking improved and confident in their new offense. The defense is living up to their billing as a top 20 defense last year. Uconn will want to run the ball and spread it around.
