The End Zone: USC's playoffs hopes grow
USC is the only PAC-12 team that can make the college football playoffs. The Trojans are 11-1 and have the best chance of winning the conference. They play UCLA in the Rose Bowl on November 19th. Oregon lost to Georgia 49-3. It will be difficult for them to get in higher than a 4th seed. The selection committee might ignore the one-point loss to Utah. There is a bias towards larger programs. USC is playing for a national championship game. This game will take place at SoFi stadium. A Pac- 12 team has not been in college playoffs since Washington lost against Alabama in 2016.
