15 entities applied for sports betting licenses in Massachusetts. Encore Boston Harbor, MGM Springfield and Plainridge Park Casino all submitted applications. Six operators applied to offer standalone licenses. Raynham Park and Suffolk Downs are not eligible to apply. The applications are subject to the commonwealth’s public records law and will be released once the commission reviews them. The fee for the applications is $200,000. They can offer mobile sports bets through up to two individually branded mobile platforms. Live horse racing tracks and simulcast facilities can also offer wagering on one individuallybranded mobile platform.
