Varun Dhawan is fond of Rajkummar Rao's acting prowess and he has been vocal about it. These two powerhouse performers are way ahead of others of their generation. While Varun has interesting films lined up- October and Sui Dhaaga, Rajkummar will next be seen in Omerta, Fanne Khan, Stree, etc. He will also soon start filming for Mental Hai Kya with Kangana Ranaut.

Varun recently posted a clip of their bromance in which the actors can be seen greeting each other with a chest bump at the gym. Varun captioned the video, ''That’s how me and @rajkummar_rao say hello  in the gym #workaholics.''

Varun was quite elated when Newton was selected for Oscars. In one of the interviews he said, ''I have been proved right. Raj, I praised you before your film got chosen for the Oscars. I am so happy I bet on the right horse.” Also Varun's dad David Dhawan wants to make a movie featuring Rajkummar. The actor once narrating his conversation with dad said, ''After watching Bareilly Ki Barfi that we loved watching, dad said: 'yaar this Rajkumar is such a brilliant actor, I feel like making a film with him!' and I also personally feel that they are doing something right to get that love and appreciation from audience.''

Recently, after watching Omerta, Varun tweeted his appreciation and said it look hard-hitting. ''Can’t wait to watch Rajkumar in this film the trailer looks so dam hard hitting. @mehtahansal @RajkummarRao . Watch it everybody,'' he wrote on Twitter.
